Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of croaudits.io and every service we provide, including the paid CRO Audit. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
CROaudits is the trading name of Bryan Gehrke, a sole trader established in Ireland at Clogherane, Lauragh, Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland. You can contact us at bryan@croaudits.io. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CROaudits, and “you” refers to the person or business using our services.
2. Our services
CRO Audit
The CRO Audit is a fixed-scope, one-time service priced at 495 US dollars. It includes:
a video walkthrough of your website of at least 40 minutes,
a written CRO report of approximately 35 to 40 pages,
a developer checklist of 40 or more prioritised tasks,
where we consider it useful for your store, a mockup of a product page showing how the recommended changes could look,
a customer journey story: a short fictional account, based on the audit findings, of how a typical customer moves through your store and where the recommended changes would help, and
a bonus technical SEO review and a speed and performance review.
The audit is a diagnosis and roadmap. It does not include implementing the recommendations, A/B testing, or ongoing consultancy, although we may offer those separately.
3. Ordering and payment
You order the CRO Audit by paying through our Stripe checkout. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when Stripe confirms your payment and you receive your receipt. If we cannot accept an order, for example because your website is not suitable for a CRO audit, we will tell you promptly and refund the payment in full.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate and fees when you pay in another currency. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the price. If that changes, prices will be shown inclusive of any applicable tax before you pay.
Promotion codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied afterwards. Each code is subject to its own conditions and may be withdrawn at any time.
Payment is processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms. We never see or store your full card details. The charge will appear on your statement as CROAUDITS.IO.
4. Your audit brief and delivery
After payment you will be asked to complete a short audit brief (your store URL, target customer, conversion goal, traffic mix and any notes). We need the completed brief to start your audit, and our delivery time runs from the moment we receive it.
We deliver the complete audit within 5 business days of receiving your completed brief, by email or a secure download link. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays. If we expect a delay we will tell you as soon as we know. If we deliver later than 5 business days for reasons within our control and you have not agreed a new date, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
You are responsible for making sure the website you submit is one you own or are authorised to have audited, and for the accuracy of the information you give us. If access to a page requires a password or a test account, please provide it in the brief.
5. Cancellation and refunds
If you are a consumer
If you buy as a consumer (not for the purposes of a trade, business or profession) you have the right under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is formed, without giving a reason. To cancel, email us with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
Because the audit is normally completed within the 14-day period, by submitting your audit brief you expressly request that we begin work immediately and acknowledge that, once the audit has been fully delivered, you will lose the right to cancel. If you cancel after we have started but before delivery, we will refund the price less a proportionate amount for the work already carried out. If you cancel before we have started, you receive a full refund.
If you buy as a business
Business customers may cancel free of charge at any time before we start work on the audit. Once work has started, the price is non-refundable except under the satisfaction guarantee below or where we fail to deliver.
Satisfaction guarantee
We stand behind the audit. If you are not satisfied that the audit gives you a clear, prioritised plan you can act on, email us within 14 days of the date we delivered it and we will refund 100 percent of your audit fee to your original payment method within 14 days of your request. You do not need to implement any of the recommendations, or show any results, to make a claim. The guarantee covers the audit fee only.
Audits ordered before 13 October 2026 remain covered by the money-back guarantee set out in the terms that applied when they were ordered.
Refunds are issued by Stripe to the original payment method and normally arrive within 5 to 10 business days.
6. The nature of our advice
Our recommendations are professional opinions based on established conversion-rate-optimisation practice and on the information available to us at the time. They are not guarantees of any particular financial result. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your traffic, pricing, products, the quality of implementation and market conditions. We make no promise of a specific uplift in conversions, revenue or rankings.
You are responsible for deciding which recommendations to implement and for testing any changes before releasing them to your live site. Nothing in the audit constitutes legal, accounting or tax advice.
7. Intellectual property and case studies
On payment in full, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the video, report and checklist within your own business, including sharing them with your team, agency or developers. You may not resell the deliverables or present them as your own work. Our methods, templates and know-how remain our property.
You keep all rights in your website and brand. You grant us permission to capture screenshots and recordings of your website for the purpose of producing the audit.
We may mention that you are a client, and show your logo, only with your permission. We may use anonymised, non-identifiable findings for our own case studies and marketing.
8. Confidentiality
We treat the information in your brief, any analytics you share, and the audit itself as confidential. We will not disclose it to anyone other than the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, except where the law requires it or you give us permission.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of consumers.
Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with an audit, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid for that audit. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, sales, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss, nor for losses caused by how the recommendations are implemented.
10. Using the website
You may use croaudits.io for lawful purposes only. The content of the site, including the text, design and any sample deliverables, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. We try to keep the site accurate and available but do not promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of that country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
If you have a problem, please contact us first. We will do our best to resolve it directly and quickly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The date at the top shows when the terms were last revised.
